(Just trying to keep things going. Sorry for my lack of brain power.) Coyotestar padded into the camp, the cobwebs still around his paw and tail with feathers clamped between his teeth. He quickly glanced around, noting how beautiful the oak looked with the setting sun's rays beaming through its canopy. Though his yellowed eyes were searching for the calico frame of Leafpelt, she didn't seem to be here yet. Hopefully, she had remembered to bring the moss he asked for. It seemed that the she-cat forgot things often, simple things. The tom flicked his tail as he slid under a low, ground bearing branch and into the small clearing that lead to the old badger set he shared with the she-warrior. He spat the feathers out at the mouth of his den and sat down to free his paw of the webbing."Well, here we are. Home, sweet home", he mewed, looking back over his shoulder to see if the she-cat, Juniper, was still following him.

(I'm going to proceed as if Leafpelt has yet to meet with Falcon. Their meeting can be on a separate trip that she takes back to the creek in order to actually get moss.) The orange and black she-cat was hungry and ready to dig into one of the voles she had stumbled across at the creek's shoreline. She had caught two; one for herself and one for her companion as a thank you to him for catching their previous meal. Yet, the small bodied feline was waiting until she reached the den once more. That was the Warrior code after all: feed your Clan before yourself. And although the pair had yet to have a Clan as Crowpaw had directed, it was still only right to maintain moral practice.
Leafpelt was not far from their chosen resting place when she could smell the fresh scent of Coyotestar being blown in the evening breeze. The calico assumed that he must have returned only recently, but that wasn't the female's only curiosity. Along with the tom-cat's scent came another. It was unfamiliar, but distinctly feline. Immediately thinking the worst, the she-warrior picked up her pace to a lope, wanting to reach her friend before anyone else could.

Juniper held herself a little calmer now, the walk having mellowed the she cat a bit. The walk was filled with a bit of idle chit chat, nothing of any real value being brought up. With time the bee stings became little to non existent, the pain brought by them seemingly dealt with by the black berry leaves. It didn't take long before the grey tabby saw an oak tree, in fact it was one that was larger than normal. She had seen this tree before, it was a common sight on trips from the glades. Sun beams danced off the tree rhythmically, as if a dance was taking place with the aid of the wind. The limbs came to life as a soft breeze pushed past them, it was a very beautiful place. Now she wished she had come to this tree more often, looked at it fully, and taken in the beauty.
Noticing that Coyotestar had stepped forward sliding under a few low branches, juniper followed not having to slink down nearly as much to make it under the branch. Coyotestar was now a few tail lengths away, making a few little bounds Juniper caught up, watching as the tom sat down next to his pile of feathers. When he looked back at her she smiled, this area was actually quite homey, the fact that no one had claimed it as their own shocked her even. Now it seemed to be a home to the new strangers. It seemed pretty secure and the sounds of the birds nested in the high branches gave it a nice ambiance. "It's a lovely place." Juniper commented.

(Note to self, do not cook and role-play at the same time while you have horses dancing in your head.)
The tabby tom nodded absentmindedly as he busied himself with freeing his paw. He placed the webbing into a small nook under one of the oak's massive roots to keep them dry and safe. Coyotestar did take a moment to admire his surroundings, watching as the rays bounced and played hide-n-seek with the wind. It was a pleasant a sight. And for a short moment, he was filled with pride at the fact that it belonged to him and his unknown clan. Bringing his eyes back to the silver pelted she-cat, he mewed, "I have no idea where Leafpelt is, she should be here by now. She was only supposed to look around the creek and get some moss." The tom placed a paw of the pile of feathers to keep them from scattering in the gentle breeze. "I'm going to take these to their rightful place, I'll be right back." He then bent, gathered the colorful bunch in his jaws, and disappeared into the den.

Leafpelt burst through the leaves of the low hanging oak branches, her yellow-green eyes falling onto an unfamiliar form. Where was Coyotestar? His scent was fresh, he should be right here, but he was no where to be seen. The female dropped the two, small, and lifeless bodies as she continued forward, stepping over them and facing Juniper with a scowl.
"Who are you!? Where's Coyotestar!?" The she-cat hissed loudly and with undoubted aggression as she turned her small frame sideways and arched her back, tri-colored fur spiked all along her neck, back, and tail. She unsheathed her claws and barred her fangs, wanting to intimidate this other feline before they could take note of any advantages they might have over her. If they had, in fact, subdued the she-warrior's companion, they must be a good fighter in at least one way or another. However, there was no sign -scent nor site- of any blood, so it would appear that this "intruder" must have taken the tom-cat very skillfully, maybe even knocking him out.

Juniper sat and waited for the tom to join her once again, this must have been his den. Taking note of her surroundings, she noticed the sounds of plants being crushed under paw. Followed by a sent similar to the tom cat. That must have been his companion coming towards them, turning towards the entrance she smiled only to be greeted by the frantic form of the toms companion. She looked distressed and worried and before she could question what was wrong the cat turned on her. The grey tabbies calm carefree demeanor traded for one of mixed terror and worry. She felt cornered, trapped, as the she cat advanced. Seeing little option she found herself climbing up the tree, finding it the only way to put distance between her and the cat until Coyotestar came back. Finding herself on one of the low hanging but still off the ground branches Juniper tried to find words. Her fur was spiked up, but she did not his, her tail lashed about, but she did not snarl. Trying to find the words needed to defuse this situation was troublesome. All she could do was hope the brown tom would intervene.

Coyotestar let his eyes adjust to the change in light, blinking several times before he could see well enough. He halved the feathers into two piles and spread them neatly about Leafpelt's side of the den, taking care to not damage the colorful materials. When he turned to his own, he simply just scattered them about my his paws. He was about to test the comfort of his nest when a fury of hissing caught his ears. The tabby tom whipped about and dashed from the dimmed den and into the clearing. Again his eyes took sometime to adjust, and he blinked like a blind elder in the sudden light. Despite this, the tom unsheathed his claws, raised his hackles and bared his fangs, ready to pounce on the unknown threat if there was one. Suddenly, just as his yellow vision cleared, he tasted the scent of Leafpelt. He realized that he was facing the calico she-cat, teeth barred and claws raised. The she-warrior had herself all puffed up with her back arched to make herself look larger, her ears flat against her skull. "Leafpelt!? What are you doing? What's going on", he hissed loudly. Coyotestar glanced quickly about him, trying to figure out what could have the she-cat so riled. "Where is Juniper?" He suddenly realized the source of his companion's distress and calmed his frayed nerves. He hoped that the calico she-warrior and had hurt or scared Juniper away.

Hackles still raised and claws still out, Leafpelt's face eventually took on an expression of complete confusion as Coyotestar sprang from the den. In the heat of the moment, the cat's first thought was that the male had turned sides and was about to put himself against her, but reason quickly took hold and told the female otherwise.
"Juniper? What? -What do you mean "What's going on", I was trying to save you!" The calico stammered out in an angry and confused tone. Many thoughts swam through the small feline's mind, but it was rapidly becoming clear that she had misread the situation entirely. It now seemed much more likely that Coyotestar was just being friendly with a stranger that he met on his errand. They were, after all, on some crazy mission to build a Clan...

Juniper breathed a sigh of relief when Coyotestar came out, she watched as the two powerful seeming cats came face to face. She hoped that her intrusion would not ruin the two's companionship and would much rather leave than come between them. After a few moments the once tense air settling slightly Juniper made her presence know to thet Tom, voice slightly shaken with fear. "I-I'm up here." The grey tabby mewled from her spot in the branches. Jumping down from the low hanging branch, fur still on end from the recent shock, Juniper gazed on at the two cats.
Looking at Leafpelt, Juniper put on a false sense of brovado, it would take her a few more moments to calm down, seeing a cat mad like that didn't sit well with her often. Then again she could understand where the aggression was coming from, though in the same situation Juniper would most likely had acted differently. The tabby calmed herself, her fur coming to a rest, her tail staying still, yet her mint eyes showed hints of worry. "You must be Leafpelt, I'm Juniper. Welcome to the forest." She sounded more sure of herself as she spoke, hoping to ease the tension as best as she could.

Coyotestar stood there, staring at the calico she-cat before him. "Save me?" How could this female think that if he needed saving, she could help him? He was larger, stronger, and more intimidating. The only she thing she had over him was speed of action. "What did you think I needed saving from?" The tom glanced up as Juniper's voice sounded from a branch and he watched her clamber down. Her fur still floofed from her 'first impression' with Leafpelt. He looked her over to make sure that his calico friend hadn't hurt the small framed she-cat. A sense of concern he wasn't used to feeling for unfamiliar and non-clan cats swept over him, but he scented nor saw any blood. Bringing his eyes back Leafpelt, he sat down to assume a placid demeanor though his tail continued to whip back and forth in his agitation of the situation.

"I.. Well I..." The warrior couldn't find the words to explain her thoughts as adrenaline was swept aside by emotional embarrassment. How could she have been so rash? So stupid? Why hadn't she just confronted Juniper with much more control than.. Well, what she had just done.
Heaving a heavy sigh, the she-cat mewed, "I-I'm so sorry.. I don't even know what to say..." her tone was that of shame as her gaze fell to the ground before Juniper. It was obvious by the female's greeting that she had meant no harm all along, and didn't even seem to hold hard feelings against the orange and black cat that had just been moments away from attacking her.
Body shaking in response to the previous situation and face hot with embarrassment, Leafpelt let her back end plop to the ground so that she could sit, her fur still slightly puffed out, especially in the tail. "You must think I'm a horrible cat." The patched feline mewed with an obviously forced and awkward chuckle as she looked up into Juniper eyes, hoping to ease the moment further.

Junipers expression after that was softer, sensing real empathy from the calico before her. With a sweet smile the tabby just spoke, wanting to reassure to the she cat that she was in no way in the wrong. "It is alright, no hard feelings huh!" Standing up Juniper stepped forward, closing the distance between her and the two. It was almost as if she had a rebound from sad to rejuvenated.
Deciding to put the interaction behind them, seeing no need to focus on it now Juniper continued. Diverging to another topic instead the Tabby started. "So Coyotestar has been tellin' me about this clan of yours, I would love to learn more about it." Genuine interest was present in Junipers voice, she was excited to learn about this group with their odd names. Glancing towards the aforementioned cat Juniper hoped for some reassurance on the situation.

(Sorry, brain is slowing dying as my dyslexia is really showing up.)
The tom looked between the two she-cats, glad that the previous ordeal was now at an end. Though his easing frustration was replaced by embarrassment when Juniper mentioned their 'clan'. He had no clan. It was just Leafpelt and himself out here in this vast and unexplored forest. Well, at least he could tell her about what makes a clan, what separates clans from other groups. He just couldn't say anything about his clan. "Well, y-yes", he meowed, whiskers twitching as he thought of what next to say. He slightly changed the subject from himself by saying, "Juniper here has a knowledge of herbs. I think she might prove useful if anything were to happen." Tabby tail curled about his large paws, the leader hoped Leafpelt would take up conversing with the silver female.

Leafpelt let her embarrassment ease as the topic changed from her stupid mistake to the hypothetical Clan that Crowpaw had self prophesied about her brother and the calico. Yellowed gaze switched from Juniper to the male as awkward discomfort laced his expression. It was something that strangers may not have noticed, at least not at first, but the she-cat could see it as she had gotten to know Coyotestar rather well, especially in the recent moons. It could also be picked up by the way he skewed the topic back over to the newly acquainted feline.
If it weren't for the fact that the she-warrior was still slightly sour at herself for making such an act, her whiskers might have twitched in amusement. Instead, interest took hold, and she mewed, "Oh really? You know herbs?". She then skipped a beat as Coyotestar's words sunk further into her consciousness. Was Juniper to stay with them? Had this already been decided? "-Wait," Leafpelt interrupted herself, "Are you- I mean, well, have you decided to stay, uh, you know, among the.. Well, us." Words. They were never the calico's strength, and even less so in this awkward and foreign situation.

Tilting her head slightly the tabby replied to the she cats question. "Well I assume if it's alright with you as well, yes. If not I could give you a few helpful tips and be on my way." The last bit was fitted with a lest jubilant tone. Juniper hoped she could stay, this was really the first time any cat had talked to her like this in seasons. It was nice to be able to have casual conversation like back at the barn, she felt safer around these two cats too. The idea of being in a group was rather enticing, and being outwardly invited seemed like her chance.
Taking this moment to sit back down, tail tucking back around her paws, Juniper smiled shyly at Leafpelt before continuing. "I don't want to be a burden, or an intrusion. If you would rather me be gone, than I wouldn't mind in the least." That last part was a lie, she would mind, but she didn't want the calico before her to assume throwing her out would cause her discomfort and in the end effect her choice. Looking back at Coyotestar Juniper hoped to find some sort of reassurance of his want for her to be there. Reassurance that she would be wanted here.
