A tall, lithe bodied Oriental Shorthair. She has a solid, cinnamon colored pelt and angular, sage eyes. The skin around her stomach region is saggy and stretched out from having had many litters in her lifetime. There are a few grey hairs beginning the speckle the she-cat, especially around her eyes and muzzle. And, though, Toffee is not young, she is still capable and should live a few more years granted that nothing detrimental happens.
Toffee was purchased from a reputable breeder when she was about six months old by an elderly couple looking for a sweet companion to have about their little house. However, a few months later, the young cat was snatched from her owners' yard while she had been playing among the garden. The people who stole the she-cat obviously knew her worth as she came from a long blood line of pedigree Oriental Shorthairs, but they did not appreciate her. In fact, they had only taken her for their own gain.
The feline quickly became acquainted with a handsome young tom-cat named Maximus that had also been stolen, and it wasn't long after that before the happy couple had their first litter. Years passed and the two kept baring kits for the greedy humans to sell with forged pedigrees in a filthy scam to earn quick cash. They lived a life similar to their own ancestors, though, in a state of much less quality and grandeur.
Unfortunately, the people who owned the mated pair did little more than feed and water the felines and so, when Maximus developed an eye infection, they did nothing. Months went by and the male eventually died, however, not before he went blind from the bacteria having eaten away at the organs. Toffee was undoubtedly devastated, but she was given no reprieve.
A few weeks had gone by when Colonel showed up to take the black tom's place. He had been purchased from an amateur breeder that had been eager to sell the bitter tempered male to the first willing person. At first, Toffee tried to cope with him as she was known for being a pleasantly sociable cat, but even she couldn't handle the male after a while. After the female's third litter with the scum of a cat, she decided enough was enough and refused to let Colonel near her. However, this was to be her undoing, as she could no longer breed with a male she wouldn't accept.
The humans were soon fed up with Toffee and decided it was time for her to go. Yet, instead of surrendering her over to a humane society or even finding a home for her themselves, they drove out to the woods and dropped her off, never to be seen again.
