The Starless Clans
Reconciled Sins
There once existed three Clans that lived like any other. However, as moons passed, their hearts ravished by pain and paws worn by time, they began to grow bitter towards one another. Deeds were done and lives were taken until, finally, they came together in what was meant to be one last battle among them all. The Clans faced one another with the intent of ridding the forest of their enemy... Of each other.
They wanted to preserve their own Clan with the hope that they would rule the forest alone, but to do so, they would have to kill whomever would not flee. Many stayed, their lives brutally taken, but some also left, abandoning their Clan to face a doomed battle without their aid. Could Starclan blame them?
When two felines in particular found themselves running away, they didn't look back. That was, not until it was too late. Weighted with guilt, they plodded on, knowing they would never be forgiven by their kin. Life seemed hopeless and bleak; without purpose.
Yet, it seemed Starclan had plans of their own.
