Alrighty, everyone, as you may know, we are having some issues with the plugin that controls the Roleplay Experience. I don't know about you, but I'm getting kinda frustrated with it's inconsistency, and it seems it's going to be a while before the plugin creator is able to help me solve whatever is going wrong. As far as I can tell, they've gone on a hiatus, as it has been a few months since they were last on the ProBoards Support forum.
Now, a couple of you have mentioned the Monetary System, in which posts gain you a form of currency that can be spent on things in shops and such. However, it also seems that there might be some opposition to this. Whatever the case may be, please answer the poll and post your thoughts here so I know what I should do. I can also look into other similar options if you'd like.
Thanks, LaurelTree

I think a monetary system with a shop would be cool, although I'm not really sure what the shop would sell. Maybe points could add up to things you could buy and use in character, such as certain herbs and such, or maybe something else more out of character.

I find it's generally appealing to have some form of monetary currency and a shop. It could even put limits on special characteristics, such as rare appearances (male torties for example), illnesses (like albinism), or litter sizes (over, say, 5 or 6 kits per litter).
Though it really depends on what all would be sold in the shop, if they would even make for worthwhile incentives, and how efficient it would be to manage. That and, without the addition of liquid time (restricted or open), it'd really be hard for a single character to earn a decent amount of money to be able to afford bigger rewards, unless they have the fortunate luck of always being paired with fast- or even moderately fast- posters.
