Tittle Tags
Everyone should already have a good understanding of the 'Closed' and 'Open' tags for rp threads, but what about the others?
Open, or 'O' simply means that your rp thread is open for anyone to join. Closed or 'C' means that the thread is no longer taking new participants. And Private, or 'P', means that only those stated in the first thread post are allowed to participate in that thread. When you start a private thread, you must state the previously agreed upon characters in the first post. Just keep in mind that 'Private' does not mean that others will not snoop on your characters' actions and happenings, rather they will likely be more nosy about the goings on and are just not able to participate. Another way to start a private thread is by placing the participating characters' names in the tittle, i.e. 'Swimming Lessons ~ John, Bill', or 'Swimming Lessons (John, Bill)' and so on.
Another form of tags are status tags. These allow staff to know the current activity level of that thread without having to see if the participants are still interested in rp-ing. For now, we currently have three status tags, Frozen (Paused), Storage, and Delete.
Froze/Frozen or Pause/Paused
To be Frozen or Paused simply means just that. A Frozen/Paused thread is placed on hold for a short period of time. It is used when one or more thread participants are unable to access the thread for whatever reason, be it internet trouble or personal vacationing. As soon as the participating member is back, the Frozen/Paused tag is removed from the tittle.
Storage
When "Storage" is placed in the title any staff with the authority to do so is to move the thread to the Archives for, well, storage. This can go for any and all threads on the SC site. And is the best way to remove inactive or finished role-play threads. Though, if it is used for the storage of rp threads, all thread participants are to comment something along the lines of "done" or "finished". This is to show that all rp thread members are in agreement with this action. Sometimes, just because you are done with that rp thread doesn't mean others are.
Delete
This is used when you want to completely remove a thread from the site all together. It will not count for rp threads, but is to be used for chat threads and other similar threads. Only put Delete in the title if you are absolutely sure you no longer want or need this thread. Again, all thread participants must post a comment of agreement in order for a thread to be deleted.
